I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Math, but I also have an extensive background in Latin Language, standardized test preparation, grammar, and writing. I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in writing, in an attempt to balance my education between the arts and the sciences. I'm excited about having the opportunity to explore new topics with you!

As an ME student at MIT, I've learned a lot about math and science, and I'd love to share that knowledge with students here. I've taught over thirty students in standardized test preparation, English, German, and various kinds of math and science. I'm an electrical engineer working in the pro audio hardware industry. I currently hold a MSEE and BSEE with a minor in physics. I've also been a professional musician since the late 90s. I aim to help students develop their own intuition when solving problems and learning new concepts. If you're having trouble in some areas, there's a good chance I've already struggled through it!

To me teaching is all about getting the light bulb to go on. People have different learning styles; the tutor's job is to determine the most effective learning style for each student.

I have been teaching and tutoring math for the last ten years. I enjoy looking at a problem and seeing if there are different ways to solve it, which makes the process a little more interesting than working on it with just one method. One thing I have found to be helpful is to think of possible errors one might make while working on a problem, which allows the concepts to sink in even more.
