What can I learn with Washington DC GMAT prep?

There are four sections on the GMAT. All of these sections are crucial, as business schools such as BAU International University look at all four of them when determining whether they should give more consideration to a particular application. There are three configurations for these four sections in which you can take the test. This overview will follow the third possible test-day configuration, so we will start with Quantitative Reasoning.

In the Quantitative Reasoning section, you will face multiple-choice questions. You will have 62 minutes to answer 31 questions. You will be presented with problems that will challenge your thinking and reasoning skills. It will be up to you to analyze the problems and determine whether there is enough data provided to answer the questions or come up with solutions. You will have to figure out which is the best answer from the possible answers presented to you.

In the Verbal Reasoning section, you will again be presented with multiple-choice questions. You will have 65 minutes to answer 36 questions. This section will test your critical thinking skills, as well as your skills when it comes to comprehending and understanding written material. You will be presented with passages. You will have to understand the arguments that are being made in those passages. You will also have to evaluate those arguments and respond to them, as well as formulate your own arguments. You may also face sentence correction problems, in which you will have to identify proper grammar and sentence structure. You may also have to identify the correct answers that will make certain sentences make more sense.

Next is the Integrated Reasoning section. In this section, you will have a total of half an hour to answer 12 questions. You will be presented with multiple sources of information. This may come in the form of graphics, text, tables, and more. You will be required to synthesize all of this data. You will have to combine all of the information and answer problems based on it. There will be a few types of questions in this section. Some questions will give you tables and charts and require you to interpret the information that is presented in them. Some questions will test your ability to process more than one piece of information simultaneously, such as by evaluating trade-offs.

Finally, there is the Analytical Writing Assessment. You will have to work quickly here, as you will only have half an hour to complete your essay. This section will test your ability to write critically and clearly. You will have to evaluate arguments and statements that will be presented to you, and you will have to fully comprehend them before starting to plan a response. This section will test your ability to formulate a proper response. Your response should be backed up with supporting data or evidence. You will have to organize your ideas and present them in a structured manner that is easy to comprehend. You will also be evaluated on your comprehension level and skills in written English. This is a computer-based exam, and there will be both a system that will evaluate your essay and a human evaluator.
