Starting with brainstorming ideas, to actually writing words on paper, to the structure of their ideas and how to edit, I instruct students through the writing process without being their editor (the person who 鈥渇ixes鈥� the writing). My goal is to boost their skills and confidence, and inspire them to do their very best work.

My favorite word is "why." And why is that, you may ask? Well, I am subject to a never-ending flow of knowledge because I perpetually wonder why. The search for answers to any question beginning with "why" has taught me everything I know -- and put me in a position to disseminate my knowledge to other people. Tutoring is the best possible way for me to do that.
