I am a writer and editor with a B.A. in English from Pomona College. I mostly enjoy tutoring English, but math and science come easily to me as well. ...a student's specific learning style and get them the personalized help they need. Most of my experience has been with math tutoring, but I've also done some English tutoring. If I had to pick a favorite subject to tutor, it would be probably be geometry. Usually with geometry, students who typically struggle with math get a new perspective because they can actually visualize the problems with shapes, versus only dealing with concepts.
