I have been a professional educator since 2001 in a variety of academic spaces including the k-12 classroom, non-profit teacher education, and higher education. My primary background is in science and mathematics so these areas are especially relevant to me. As my career progressed, I also began working with adults who were teachers of these subjects or administrators who worked with other educators. My teaching philosophy is driven by the pursuit of conceptual understanding through equitable and inclusive practices.
