I am currently a STEM Teacher in Southwest Oklahoma. I am a graduate and cheer alumni of the University of Oklahoma. I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses in English Literature, Classics, and Education. I have a minor in Latin.
I believe it's important to connect with a student on a personal level if you expect them to retain important information. I think it is an adult's duty to find the common ground and use it to everyone's advantage. I'm happy to talk about anything from Barbies to Roman war strategies, and I will always make it my goal to present my lessons in ways that will engage the students.
I have a competitive and vibrant, positive personality. I have a desire to help mold young scholars into the next generation of global, working citizens. I am very patient, and I strive to learn as many different ways to teach as possible. I'm interested in technology, people, history, and human behavior. I have a passion for languages and problem solving.
