I am a graduate of The University of Pittsburgh and a current medical student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I received my Bachelor of Arts & Science degree as a neuroscience major with a minor in chemistry. Before matriculation into medical school, I performed biomedical research at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, MD. My research focused on regulation of the dopamine transporter through regulation by G protein receptor subunits and the physiological role this may play in mental diseases such as addiction and ADHD. While I tutor a broad range of science subjects, I am most passionate about those relating to human medicine and helping students that wish to enter into medical fields. I believe that as a student who has completed the medical school application process, I am in a position to help guide students to achieve their goals through hard work inside and outside of the classroom. In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, playing and watching sports (mostly baseball and hockey), and enjoying the company of my friends.
