History has always been my biggest interest and passion. Without it, not only are people doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past, but they also lose the knowledge of where they come from - heritage and culture.

While working on my undergraduate degree, I presented original historical research at Lindenwood's Research Symposium, conducted original research for the Missouri History Museum, and successfully completed an internship in Public History. I also won the 2014 Senior Essay Contest, was given membership to three academic honor societies, and received Dean's List honors on several occasions.

Currently, I am working towards my Master of Arts degree in Teaching/Education and teach At-Risk students at a local high school.
