I believe a strong foundation in math and science is important for everyone. It is important because it allows you to better understand the world and be a strong contributing member of society. It will also open many doors that otherwise wouldn't be available to you.
I have a degree in aerospace engineering. With my experience in math and science, I would love to be able to give back. I enjoy tutoring and educating others and seeing that light in their eyes when a new idea clicks with them.
My hope is that I can tutor, guide, and inspire the next generation.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is to break down the components of a problem that may seem alien to the student and show them that it is just a combination of methods and ideas that they have learned before.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In a first session I would like to get to know the student's level of knowledge on the subject at hand and how they feel about it.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I would show the student how to look at any problem or idea that is confronting them, and how to look at it in a way that they can analyze it so they too can break it down into steps that they may already know.
