I am a recent graduate from Dartmouth College, where I double majored in Government and Anthropology. Currently, I am working as a Paralegal for a public interest law firm in Washington, DC. I have experience tutoring students at several different age levels. During my time at Dartmouth, I served as a study group leader in Governmental Statistics, where I reviewed homework assignments with students, explained central concepts and formulas used in statistics, and helped students prepare for their final projects conducting real world statistical observations. It was an incredibly awarding experience watching the student's grades improve with the help of these sessions. Throughout high school, I served as a teacher's aid. I taught elementary level students, middle schoolers and high schoolers and feel very comfortable working with students of all ages. When tutoring, it is important to adapt one's teaching style to the learning style of the student. I am proud of my flexibility as a tutor in quickly assessing how my students best absorb information and adapting my teaching style accordingly.
