Having worked as an English Writing teacher for college, high school, and middle school students, I hope to apply the skills I've gained from my vast experience to help improve your (or your child's) learning process. I have lived in New York, Pakistan, and most recently Austin, TX. I have taught students who were native English speakers, as well as those for whom English was a second language. More often than not, my students have left me feeling more confident and better equipped to read and write in the English language.

With a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Rutgers University, and a Master's of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, I hope to convey to my students what it feels like to be passionate about a subject. Currently, I'm a Features Editor for a fashion and lifestyle magazine. Previously, I was a college instructor of Creative Writing and Literature. In my spare time, I like to read and write fiction, watch movies, travel, and spend time with my family.
